Borax in the Washing liquid and possible oversupply of Boron in soil.

Boron – a trace element is vital in soil – mostly depleted in Australia soil – could be harmful in a large quantity. However, for example, without boron trees would not fruit. Though used in a small amount in the washing liquid, using water to constantly water one garden spot would most likely oversupply with Boron. There are two ways around it:
– using washing water across the entire garden – will not get oversupply
– substitute Borax in washing liquid with Bi-carb Soda , so no boron is in washing water.
Hope this helps.
